Morcheeba make a blistering return with a stunning new album, „Escape the Chaos.” It’s Morcheeba’s 11th studio album and it effortlessly shows why they are trip-hop royalty. Family is key to their longevity. At an early album session in Dublin, Ross and Skye were joined by her son Jaega on drums and her husband Steve Gordon on bass, both mainstays of their live band. „It felt more like the old days of recording when we laid down those tracks,” says Ross. „We were actually in a room playing the songs together.” Formed in London in 1995 the legendary band have extensively toured the globe, sold over 10 million albums worldwide and left their mark as one of the most influential acts of recent times. Releasing their acclaimed debut album „Who Can You Trust?” in 1996, the band have gone on to release 10 studio albums, including 1998’s platinum selling „Big Calm”, produced an album for Talking Heads’ David Byrne and produced soundtracks for Oscar-winning director Steven Soderbergh. In their 30th year Morcheeba are as relevant as ever and are set to mark the celebration in style.
